Edison Electric Department of Collective Management of Copyrighted Materials (CMCM) has fully prepared to meet China's regulation on the collective management of copyrighted materials approved by the State Council, effective on March 1, 2005, to better protect the interests of Edison Electric as a copyright owner throughout the nation.

Under the 48-article regulation, such rights as copyrights, performance, projection, broadcasting, duplication and Internet-based information distribution - all listed in the Copyright Law are effectively safeguarded and enjoy protection per China's National Copyright Administration regulations.
